Planting in the Luther Garden :

On April 25th, 2015, Pastors Corinna and Joachim Diestelkamp (pictured with their children) planted a common ash tree on behalf of The Lutheran Church in Ireland. They had previously served for eight years as pastors of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) abroad in Dublin.

Planting the partner tree :

On September 23rd, 2014, Pastor Dr. Margot Käßmann (right, with spade), EKD Representative for the Reformation Jubilee in 2017, planted an apple tree in the parish garden in Dublin on behalf of the Lutheran Church in Ireland. She was accompanied by the pastors of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) serving abroad in Ireland, Corinna and Joachim Diestelkamp (left, at the tree).
