Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 31st, 2011, during the 4th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Dr. Jin-Seop Eom (by the tree, left of Pastor Hans W. Kasch, Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg), planted an amur maple tree on behalf of Luther University in the Republic of Korea. A child from the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg is ready to help by watering the tree.

Planting the partner tree :

On April 26th, 2013, Church President Pastor Hyun-Sub Um, former Church President Pastor Hong-Ryul Lee, Assistant Church President Pastor Hyun-Gil Kang and board members Pastor Don-Heon Ahn, Pastor Eun-Seob Kim, and Pastor Take-Ju Hong planted a Japanese pine tree as partner tree of Luther University in front of the university’s main building in Yongin, South Korea.
