On March 15th, 2017, Pastor Bert Kuipers (squatting in front, left) and Pastor Holger Milkau (squatting in front, right; Pastor Joachim Zirkler, Director of Studies of the LWF Center Wittenberg, is at center) planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the partner congregations Laurenskerk Rotterdam in the Netherlands and the Evangelical Lutheran Kreuzkirche Congregation Dresden in Germany. They were accompanied by members of both congregations.
