Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 1st, 2009, the first 25 trees in the Luthergarten were adopted. Bishop Dr. Hans-Jürgen Abromeit (pictured, assisted by a student of the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg) planted a red maple tree on behalf of the Pomeranian Protestant Church, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On Pentecost Monday, May 28th, 2012, Bishop Dr. Hans-Jürgen Abromeit (right, speaking to the congregation) planted the partner tree of the Pomeranian Protestant Church. It is a cedar of Lebanon, whose planting added one more biblical plant species to the Bible Garden at the Bible Center in Barth, Germany.
