Malus - Apfel 'Cox Orange Renette' - Apple Tree

On November 25, 2018, during the 4th International Seminar for Church Leaders of the Lutheran World Federation seven more tree plantings took place in the Luthergarten. The newly elected leader of their churches traveled first to Geneva to learn more about the structure and work of the Lutheran World Federation. The second part of the seminar they spend in Wittenberg, where they followed Martin Luther´s footprints. The tree for the Northern Great Lakes Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, USA, was planted by Bishop Katherine Volz Finegan.The tree is identified as number 468 in the Luthergarten in Wittenberg.
