On November 16th, 2016, during the 14th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Dr. Adam White (right, receiving the certificate from the Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg, Pastor Hans W. Kasch) planted a Thuringian ash tree on behalf of the Lutheran Campus Ministry in Lincoln, Nebraska, of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
