On November 29th, 2014, Pastor Rudy Schaser from the USA (pictured with his wife and grandsons), representing Pastor Charles Isabirye Bameka of Uganda, planted an “Edelborsdorfer” apple tree on behalf of the Lutheran Church of Uganda. Pastor Schaser and Pastor Bameka have long been connected through their congregations’ partnership.
