Kasch, Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg (left) and Prof. Dr. Paul Rajashekar of Pennsylvania (right), professor in the 15th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation in Wittenberg, planted a silver linden tree on behalf of St. John Lutheran Church in the Heights in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA.

In Spring 2017, St. John Lutheran Church in the Heights in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA, planted a dwarf apple tree of the red-blooming species “Profusion” as their partner tree in the prayer garden behind the church building.
