Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 31st, 2011, during the 4th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Margaret Obaga (in front of the tree) planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Kenya Evangelical Lutheran Church. A child from the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg is ready to help by watering the tree.

Planting the partner tree :

On October 28th, 2012, after Morning Prayer, Evangelist Elihuruma Mfinanga and Congregation Elder Charles Kimambo, with help from Mwathi Mbowe, planted an umbrella tree at the Kangemi Congregation. This tree should give shade to the Christians during hot days.
