Planting in the Luther Garden :

On March 8th, 2015, during the 11th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Anupama Hial (left, reading the selected Bible verse) planted a bird cherry tree on behalf of the Jeypore Evangelical Lutheran Church in India.

Planting the partner tree :

On June 9th, 2015, during the opening worship service of the seminar on Lutheran identity, Bishop Julias Sontosh planted three partner trees on behalf of Jeypore Evangelical Lutheran Church in India. With these three trees – a fir tree, a fruit tree, and a neem tree, which has medicinal use – the church began their own small Luther Garden. The trees can be found in Doliambo, one of the congregations of the church.
