Planting in the Luther Garden :

On February 24th, 2015, Ms. Kiyoe Narita (with spade) planted an amur maple tree on behalf of the Japan Lutheran Church. With her were 26 additional women who were visiting Wittenberg for a seminar on the theme “Women in Church and Society.” They represented the president of their church, Pastor Shin Shimizu, who was not able to attend the tree planting.
