Planting in the Luther Garden :

On August 23rd, 2014, Pastor Petra Buschmann-Simons (front row, 1st from left) and Pastor Reinhard Chudaska (front row, 2nd from left), together with a group of confirmands, planted a Thuringian ash tree on behalf of the Evangelical Martin Luther Congregation in Bergkamen, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On October 31st, 2014, just 2 months after the planting in the Wittenberg Luthergarten, Pastor Buschmann-Simons (2nd from left) planted a “Kaiser Wilhelm” apple tree in front of the Martin Luther Church in Bergkamen, Germany as partner tree for the Evangelical Martin Luther Congregation in Bergkamen. The congregation actively participated in the planting.
