On April 9th, 2017, Pastor Bohne (pictured planting the tree), with participation from the Mach family, who was celebrating a baptism, and other members of the congregation, planted a sweetgum tree in the garden of the Old Kantorat (Lauersche Straße 12, Markleeberg) as partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation Martin Luther in Markkleeberg-West, Germany.
