Planting in the Luther Garden :

On July 29th, 2017, representatives of both congregations planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregations of Ebersbach and Reinersdorf, Germany. The tree planting took place in memory of the young congregation pastor Matthias Spindler, who was the victim of a deadly accident.

Planting the partner tree :

On November 5th, 2017, Holger Hempelt and other church council members planted a Norway maple tree in Reinersdorf as shared partner tree for the congregations of Ebersbach and Reinersdorf. At the same time, the tree is a memorial for congregation pastor Matthias Spindler, who was the victim of a deadly accident.
