Planting in the Luther Garden :

On April 9th, 2017, members of the participating congregations planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the partnership between the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation “Maria am Wasser” in Dresden-Hosterwitz, Germany; the Anglican Congregation St. John’s Church in Kenilworth, Great Britain; and the Evangelical Congregation of the Augsburg Confession in Brenna-Gòrki, Poland.

Planting the partner tree :

On June 4th, 2017, at the conclusion of a festive Pentecost service, Pastor Joachim Zirkler planted a cherry tree together with congregation members in the Hosterwitz parish garden as partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation in Dresden-Hosterwitz, Germany; the Anglican Congregation St. John’s Church in Kenilworth, Great Britain; and the Evangelical Congregation of the Augsburg Confession in Brenna-Gòrki, Poland.
