Planting in the Luther Garden :

On March 11th, 2012, during the 5th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Gracious Moyo (right, with spade) planted a catalpa tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zimbabwe. A child from the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg is ready to help by watering the tree.

Planting the partner tree :

Even before the tree planting in the Luthergarten took place, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zimbabwe planted their partner tree in their home church. On February 25th, 2012, Bishop J.S. Moyo; his wife, Pastor Gracious Moyo, member of the women’s and youth group; and other pastors took part in the worship service at the tree planting. Bishop J.S. Moyo planted the pericopsis angolensis tree in the garden of the ELCZ Diocese Center in Harare.
