Planting in the Luther Garden :

On March 11th, 2012, during the 5th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Kenneth Marlon Kross (foreground, shoveling the soil) planted a whitebeam tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Suriname. A child from the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg is ready to help by watering the tree.

Planting the partner tree :

On December 5th, 2013, Congregation Elder Brother Van Ommeren planted a Malay apple tree in Paramaribo Zoo in the north of Suriname.
