Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 21st, 2012, during a conference of the Lutheran World Federation, Dean Elena Bondarenko (with spade, shoveling the soil) planted a catalpa tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia.

Planting the partner tree :

On Reformation Day, October 31st, 2015, a maple tree was planted in Moscow next to the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia.
