Planting in the Luther Garden :

On December 9th, 2011, Bishop Juri Novgorodov (left) planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Jens Peter Drewes (right), pastor for mission and ecumenism in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mecklenburg accompanied the planting ceremony, along with an interpreter (center).
