On October 19th, 2015, Robert Mgaya, General Secretary of the Dodoma Diocese; David Shimwela, head of the school board of the EmBeKo School; and Kerstin Buck-Emden, the partnership coordinator of the Church District of Emsland-Bentheim (pictured handing over the tree) planted several Mkangazi saplings (a type of mahogany tree common in East Africa) on the grounds of the EmBeKo Secondary School (Emsland-Bentheim-Kondoa). The planting was accompanied by a short devotion from District Pastor Humphrey Sam beforehand, as well as songs from the school students.
