On July 8th, 2017, Pastor Christfried Weirauch (left, shoveling the soil) and Church District Provost Dr. Elena Bondarenko (right), accompanied by members of both church districts, planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the partnership between the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Dresden Mitte, Germany, and the Church District Moscow, in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in European Russia (ELKER).
