Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 12th, 2018, Ms. Beate Wagner, head of the partnership work (2nd from left, next to the Director of Studies of the LWF Center in Wittenberg, Pastor Joachim Zirkler), and Pastor Inessa Tierbach (2nd from right), accompanied by representatives of both Church Districts, planted a Norway maple tree on behalf of the partnership of Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Bautzen-Kamenz in Germany and the Evangelical Lutheran Church District in Orenburg, Russia.

Planting the partner tree :

On September 24th, 2017, following a worship service for the Reformation anniversary, Provost Sergej Holzwert from Ufa/Baschkirien (left), Pastor Inessa Tirbach (right, watering the tree) and Beate Wagner, head of the partnership work (second from left), planted a mountain ash tree in front of the church hall in Orenburg as the partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Bautzen-Kamenz in Germany and the Evangelical Lutheran Church District in Orenburg, Russia.
