Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 10th, 2017, Pastor Markus Deckert (right, proclaiming the selected Bible verse), accompanied by many members of his congregation, planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Dresden-Loschwitz.

Planting the partner tree :

On November 11th, 2017, St. Martin’s Day (and Martin Luther’s baptismal day), Pastor Markus Deckert (center, at the tree) planted a “Luther Linden” tree in the Körnerplatz at the corner of Friedrich-Wieck-Straße in Dresden-Loschwitz, Germany as partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Dresden-Loschwitz. Over 100 guests from the congregation, neighborhood and the Elbhangfestverein took part in the ceremony.
