On September 30th, 2018, Mr. Martin Meigen (left) and Pastor Angela Langner-Stephan (right), accompanied by other congregation members, planted a sessile oak tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Bethany Congregation in Leipzig-Schleußig, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On September 24th, 2017, after the harvest festival service, Martin Meigen and other congregation members planted an elm tree (resista Rebona) in the vicarage garden of the Bethany Church as a partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Bethany Congregation in Leipzig-Schleußig.
