On July 3rd, 2015, Pastor Stephan Kunkel (with spade and watering can), accompanied by staff members of the congregation, planted a silver linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Luisen congregation in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On July 14th, 2015, Pastor Stephan Kunkel, Pastor Anne Ellmann, Church Council Chair Dr. Hartmut Meyer, and Pastor Emeritus Klaus Kurt Raschkowski (foreground, left to right) planted a silver linden tree as partner tree for the Evangelical Luisen Congregation in Charlottenburg, Germany. This tree, under which people can have their final resting place, can be found in the linden grove of the church forest Charlottenburg at the Luisen church grounds.
