On August 25th, 2016, Church Superintendent Donald Kiwanga of Tanzania (3rd from left) and Pastor Sebastian Bartsch of Germany (3rd from right), together with congregation members, planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the partnership between the Protestant Congregation of St. Jakobi, Hettstedt, Germany, and the Protestant Congregation Iringa, Mlandege, Tanzania.
