Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 8th, 2012, the Lutheran youth of Poland planted a bird cherry tree on behalf of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland. For their confirmation trip, 61 confirmation students and their pastors and chaperones from southern Poland (in front of the tree) traveled in the footsteps of Martin Luther.

Planting the partner tree :

On September 29th, 2013, during the 45th Common Meeting of the Evangelical Youth in Poland, Ms. Marta Adamus (shoveling the soil) planted a bird cherry tree in the Martin Luther Plaza in Bielsko-BiaƗa on behalf of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland. She was accompanied by Pastor Alfred Borski (left), Pastor Grzegorz Giema (2nd from right), and Mr. Piotr Sztwiertnia (2nd from left).
