On June 17th, 2016, retired Pastor Horst Ritter (3rd from right), accompanied by congregation members, planted a silver linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Church District "An Sieg und Rhein" and the Evangelical congregation in Menden and Maindorf in Sankt Augustin, Germany.

On October 23rd, 2016, Retired Pastor Horst Ritter (right) and Pastor Jan Busse (left), accompanied by members of the congregations of Menden and Meindorf, planted a silver linden tree on the church grounds in Sankt Augustin.
