Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 24th, 2015, Ms. Erika Eichwald (right) planted a quince tree on behalf of the Protestant Congregation in Weingarten, Germany. She was accompanied by Ms. Renate Skirl of Wittenberg.

Planting the partner tree :

On May 15th, 2015, a “Biesterfelder Renette” heirloom apple tree was planted as partner tree in the church garden of the Protestant congregation in Weingarten, Germany. Accompanied by Johannes Baiker (5th from left), Stephan Günzler (3rd from left), and Ms. Eichwald (2nd from right), the children of the Martin Luther Preschool actively and excitedly participated in the tree planting.
