Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 2nd, 2012, participants of the AICEME International Youth Conference planted a field maple tree on behalf of the ELCA Wittenberg Center (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). This youth conference takes place in a different location each year and was in Wittenberg in 2012. As part of the program, 86 young participants planted the tree for the ELCA Wittenberg Center, which had organized the conference in Wittenberg. Pastor Arden Haug, the ELCA Regional Representative for Europe (right, next to the tree) read the selected Bible verse.
