Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 6th, 2010, Superintendent Andreas Lange (left), together with pastors and lay preachers of the Lutheran Section, planted a hawthorn tree on behalf of the Lutheran Section of the Church of Lippe. The group then planted a tree for the partner church in Lithuania (No. 164).

Planting the partner tree :

On April 15th, 2011, Church Superintendent Andreas Lange (left), the mayor of Lemgo and the deputy district official in Lemgo planted an apple tree as partner tree for the Church of Lippe (Lutheran Section). The tree stands in front of the St. Nicolas Church, in which Lutheran worship has been celebrated since 1527.
