Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 28th, 2013, Mayor Hallgeir Gröntvet (right, next to the tree, with the watering can) and Pastor Ola Garli (left, next to the tree, with spade) planted a Thuringian ash tree on behalf of the Örland congregation in the Church of Norway. Members of the congregation as well as Wittenberg guests took part in the tree planting.

Planting the partner tree :

On July 28th, 2014, on the occasion of the visit of a delegation from Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Norwegian Pastor Ola Garli (left of the tree) and Wittenberg Lord Mayor Eckhard Naumann (right of the tree) together planted a partner tree for the Örland congregation in the Church of Norway.
