Tree planting in Luther Garden
So far 77 trees are adopted by sponsors. On 4th of July the Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mwamba Sumaili, will plant a tree for his church.
A special tree planting will take place on October 1st. During a symposium between Lutherans and Mennonites a tree for the Mennonite Community will be planted. After the ceremony of reconciliation last year at the Assembly of the LWF in Stuttgart this will be an additional sign of the growing trustful relationship between Lutheran Churches and Mennonites. This development will be also in the focus of the symposium.
